Sunflowers Hand Pulled Print by Cori Solomon
This floral drawing is the second in a series of Sunflowers I created from a Monotype.  I used the ghost of my first print to create this hand pulled print.  A ghost is a second printing of an image but in this case I painted the flower back in.  I used a very loose technique to paint the flower as one see for the uneven lines of the Sunflower.

The Sunflower is one of the only flowers to use flower in its name.  The Sunflowers scientific name is Helianthus.  The reason I named this Monotype Suncatcher is the Sunflowers follow the movement of the sun across the sky from east to west,

This Sunflower is available for sale.  To purchase email Cori.
