Saluki Art By Cori Solomon
The Saluki is dear to my heart since I live with four of them.  My affinity for the breed comes out in my drawings.  I always love it when I am asked to draw my breed. This drawing of Jovie represents my first attempt at creating a particolored Saluki. It is much harder to draw the spots and get the exact likeness of the dog.  Most particolored Salukis come in two colors.  Jovie is a tri-colored Particolored Saluki, which is more unusual.

This artwork was a commissioned dog portrait and a dog related to my own line of Salukis.

Salukis are considered the oldest recognized breed.  They love to run but, at the same time, are couch potatoes.
